Core 0.32.0

  • ap-dev-flow takes a goal through research, planning, independent plan review, your approval, task-by-task implementation, integration code review, and acceptance verification in one isolated worktree. It runs only when you name it.
  • Every step is its own skill that also works alone: ap-dev-research, ap-dev-plan, ap-review-plan, ap-dev-implement, ap-dev-review-code, and ap-dev-verify. They are in the new Dev flow category and part of the recommended selection.
  • Each run is saved in .agents-pack/runs/<flow-id>/ at the worktree root and kept out of Git automatically.
  • The optional ap-clean-dev-runs skill lists old runs and removes the ones you confirm.
  • ap-start-dev-session now looks for project context in .agents-pack/.

See Dev flow.

ap-dev-implement replaces ap-subagent-driven-development

Section titled “ap-dev-implement replaces ap-subagent-driven-development”
  • ap-dev-implement keeps the subagent-driven workflow (a fresh implementer per task, local task commits, an independent task review, and up to five reviewed repair rounds) and adds task and phase verify commands and the run folder. The whole-branch review moved to ap-dev-review-code.
  • ap-subagent-driven-development is retired. It stays installed in this version as a pointer to ap-dev-implement and will be removed in a later version.
  • A fresh subagent performs every review round. Previously the agent reviewed the plan itself alongside a parallel subagent review.
  • Without subagent support the review stops and says so, instead of running a second checklist pass.
  • Inside a dev-flow run, each round is saved as 03-plan-reviews/rNN.md.
  • On its own it only critiques; it edits the plan only when you ask it to apply the changes, or under ap-dev-flow.
  1. Update the CLI to 0.3.1 or later first. A later pack will remove the retired skill, and older CLIs refuse that update. See CLI 0.3.1.

  2. Update the pack:

    agents-pack update --check
    agents-pack update

The interactive update offers the new dev-flow skills. They are not installed unless you select them, because your existing selection is preserved.

  3. If you used ap-subagent-driven-development, add its replacement:

    agents-pack update --add ap-dev-implement --yes

To add the whole pipeline, include the other stages:

    agents-pack update --add ap-dev-flow,ap-dev-research,ap-dev-plan,ap-dev-implement,ap-dev-review-code,ap-dev-verify --yes

Both commands keep working once you are already on 0.32.0: update --add does not require a version change, and agents-pack install <id> does the same job for a single component.
